COVID Protocols
Santa Clara County lifted the face mask mandate
indoors in public places as of March 2.
However, they still strongly recommend
that people wear masks indoors in public spaces
regardless of vaccination status to protect
vulnerable populations, immunocompromised
and unvaccinated people.
The Diocese of San Jose added the following:
- Anyone who prefers to wear a mask may continue to do so.
- Outdoors – Masks are not required for anyone.
- Indoors – Masks are not required for fully vaccinated individuals. Masks are required for all unvaccinated individuals and recommended for those who are immunocompromised.
- Liturgical & Eucharistic ministers, out of an abundance of caution and respect for human life, must wear a mask when they are carrying out their ministry less than six (6) feet from another person.
