Who’s Taking Care of the Caregiver?
- Helping a family member struggling with the Ups & Downs of life?
- Are you isolated or feeling lonely, frustrated, discouraged, unappreciated, maybe a little angry?
- Do you feel invisible and don’t know how to become visible or validated?
- Experiencing feelings of guilt or unable to speak up for what you really want, need
or deserve….because you are not the one sick?
It is important to know you are not alone. All caregivers are invited to attend a Caregivers’ Support Group. This is a safe place to connect with others that may relate or empathize. You will gain understanding about the importance of self-care and how it is not selfish and tools to manage your own needs.
We meet on the first Thursday of the month at two times and locations to accommodate most schedules. It is open to both non-professional and professional caregivers. Join us at the next first Thursday meeting that is convenient for your or contact Gina for additional options.
Caregiver Meetings are generally held the 1st Thursday of every month.
